Our Sea Moss is personally harvested by our Family from the marine protected shores around Canouan Island, The Grenadines. We proudly boast minimal marine traffic and a tiny population, this means our virgin waters are untouched, unpolluted and as pristine as it can be. Our species is the Eucheuma Cottonii aka kappaphycus alvarezii, as confirmed through our Fisheries Dept. by way of the Ministry of Agriculture in Saint Vincent & the Grenadines.
How To Prepare
Wash | Soak | Rinse| Blend | Store
To make your own SEA MOSS GEL at home, simply wash 2-3 times to get rid of any ocean content. Soak the cleaned moss for up to 24hrs in filtered water. Rinse, then blend in a high-speed blender with fresh water. Store in the fridge for up to 4 weeks or freeze for up to 6 months
Recommended Consumption:
Adults: 1-2 Tablespoons daily.
Children: 1-2 Teaspoons daily over 2yrs.
Authenticity:
With each shipment, a health certificate is always issued by the governing authorities to certify that our Sea Moss has been inspected according to appropriate procedures, and they are considered to be free from quarantine pests, practically free from injurious chemicals, and conform to the current phytosanitary regulations of the importing country. This certificate authenticates your Sea Moss.
Orders dispatched directly from the Island will be sent along with a Phytosanitary Certificate. To receive certificates for orders shipped via our fulfilment centre in Florida, please request a copy of the master certificate by using our contact form, be sure to include your order number so we will get this out to you without delay.
3rd Party Testing Information
As a testament to our commitment to full transparency, we are sharing third party testing on our Sea Moss. We want you to feel confident choosing our brand, knowing that it contains no contaminants. Heavy metal testing is important because Sea Moss is highly absorbent and you want to be assured that there is a zero chemical level in the product you are ingesting.
